Home to 45,000 plants
During the winter months 45,000 new plants are sown and nurtured in the greenhouse, including 19 varieties of annuals from Japan, Germany, and the USA. Seven tropical varieties making up another 2,000 plants are also carefully preserved over the winter months. 5,000 tulips open the spring season. It takes two weeks to fully replant all 55 flower beds on the property. Water from the pond is pumped into the sprinkler system for irrigation.
